1.                 PRESENTATION OF “ SOMIAS”:

The Company of Industrial Maintenance “ Société de Maintenance Industrielle” abbreviated « SOMIAS », a subsidiary with a capital of 70 000 000 AD , detained totally by ASMIDAL , was created in order to handle the activities of design and implementation of a wide-range of maintenance activities within ammonia and fertilizers unities at ASMIDAL Group, as well as subtracting its services to other sectors as : chemistry, oil industry, steel and iron metallurgy, oil chemistry and cement industry.

 2.                 CAPACITIES OF SUB-CONTRACT AVAILABLE IN THE COMPANY

. Revamping of the industrial production of unities: handling of various types of activities during turnarounds in the above-mentioned sectors.

. Mounting and dismantling operations industrial equipments.

. Mechanical overhaul of: turbines, compressors, pumps, fans, and any other dynamic equipment (turning machines).

. Reparation or renewal of facilities subject to pressure as: heat interchanging boilers, reactors, ovens and pipes under pressure.

. Mechanical manufacturing: manufacturing of various replacement parts.

. Metallic manufacturing: manufacturing and pre manufacturing of a large array of parts of chaudronnerie, tanks, serpentine tubs.

. Checking on test desks : safety valves and flap gates.

. Civil engineering : building work, maintenance of funnels and heating facilities, heat insulation.

. Handling: lifting (from 18 t to 225 t, range of 120 m) and industrial handling (3 to 24 t).
