The operational policy of Asmidal simply stipulates:

“The least accidents, the least harm to persons and the least damages to environment” are the slogan at Asmidal.

We assume these responsibilities seriously, as they constitute important criteria of performance for the group.

Here in Asmidal, we endeavour to adopt a very wide vision on the environment. In fact, the protection of environment and the preservation of people’s health, constitute a key concern while implementing our projects. A lot of surveys on the environment were achieved and many other detailed assessments were carried out in order to outline and forge the highest standards of environment protection during the renovation, development operations, and this, in order to ascertain that the entire Algerian legislation and the international standards are respected.

The environmental policy of our Group has, as a target, a lasting equilibrium between environment and economy, and has set two priorities:

    Improve the production capabilities
    Prevent the global pollution through a continuous revamping of the industrial facilities.

At the present time, Asmidal is in the final stage of implementation of the programme set forth to fight pollution started in 1998.

Today, the wastes stemming from the different production plants are conforming to the international standards in terms of pollution.
